BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST

Born in Guadalajara, in the State of Jalisco, Mexico, Julio C.R. is a new artist residing in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Fusing inspiration from realists like Estes and Goings with the folk art of Kalo and grandeur of Rivera, Julio's acrylics and oils on canvas capture iconic structures in his hometown while melding architectural curiosities, interesting typography, tantalizing portraiture and whimsical reflective vantage points.
